Cianci was a visionary mayor who presided over the city's renaissance, but he was also ruthless, corrupt, and a rogue. In 1990 he made a comeback as Mayor after being driven from office in 1984 when he was convicted of felony assault. In 2001 he was convicted of racketeering and is now in prison. Carlo Rotella looks at inside world of boxing in his new book, Cut Time: An Education at the Fights. Rotella is also the author of the book, Good With Their Hands: Boxers, Bluesmen, and Other Characters from the Rust Belt.
